Privacy

The short version: we count visits, we don't build profiles, and we never sell anything about you.

What we measure

To understand which pages are useful, we keep a simple count of page views. For each view we record the page visited, the site that referred you (just the domain, like "google.com" — never the full link), your country, and whether you're on desktop, tablet, or mobile. That's it.

What we don't do

No cookies. No advertising trackers. We do not store your IP address or your full browser details — they're used for a moment to filter out bots and then discarded, never saved and never sent anywhere. We can't identify you, we don't follow you across other websites, and there's nothing here to sell because we don't collect anything worth selling.

How the counting works

To tell a returning reader from a brand-new one within a single day, our system creates a scrambled, one-way code from technical details of the request. It resets every day and can't be reversed to identify anyone — it's the same cookieless method privacy-first tools like Plausible and Fathom use. These aggregate counts are handled by DreamSite Design, the studio that builds and operates this site.
